Growing and Learning at Ninjacart: Baba Jan
I always handled any ground issues or escalations by going on the field myself and solving the problem to ensure no such issues arose again.
I joined Ninjacart as a DC Executive in July 2019. I used to look after DC operations and 50 labours. When Ninjacart pivoted to the MDC model, I got the new opportunity to work in FC Operations. The processes were completely different from a DC, but there was nothing I couldn’t handle. I quickly learnt and adapted to the new process and on giving my 100%, I got promoted to Senior Executive. Shortly after, I became Team Lead for the Batching Department.
Every couple of months, we would get new projects in FC Operations. I always played a key role in every project.
8 months ago, we had to merge 2 FCs, which was a major project for me. There was a shortage of manpower which delayed almost every important process. I decided to take control and worked very hard with my team to get things back on track again. We focused on nothing else but our goals and did not mind working extra. Our work was greatly appreciated by the senior management, which made me very proud.
If you work hard for Ninjacart, you will definitely be recognized and rewarded for your efforts and grow, unlike any other company.
The best thing I like about Ninjacart is the opportunity to learn and grow. Even if you are interested in another department, people will support your learning process. My career has flourished here because I have never let go of an opportunity to work on something new. Ninjacart has made me more disciplined, professional, and given me the leadership qualities I need to face any challenge in life.
