I’m a physically challenged person. My dad always told me that, let it be any circumstance, I shouldn’t give up on what I love doing the most. His mantra helped me overcome the toughest situations I have ever faced. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I had many things troubling my mind, like arranging for labour, ensuring their safety and transporting the produce. I took one step at once. I instructed all the workers to wear masks first and then get into the field. The only concern that remained was transporting the veggies to the mandi, and that is where Ninjacart helped me. Even when he was young, Jitendra always helped his father on the farmland. After he completed his M.Com, he started working in Gurgaon as a data-entry operator. But, he was unable to continue his job further because he could not stay away from his family and the work pressure was too high. So, Jitendra decided to get into his ancestral business of farming. Today, 28-year-old Jitendra cultivates Tomato, Potato, and Cauliflower on his farm. During the lockdown, it was difficult for him to transport the veggies to the mandi.
